I'm excited to share my love for Pilates with you!

 

I not only found physical well being when I found Pilates, I found mental well being as well! My journey began in my teen years, struggling with anxiety and depression. After a challenging pregnancy and birth of my child, I faced a whole new battle with Post-Partum Depression (PPD) and struggled navigating life with the disregulation I was experiencing.

 

Despite growing up in ballet, I had never considered myself particularly athletic. It wasn’t until I was fortunate enough to have a Pilates session booked for me that I began to associate much of the joy throughout my life with freedom of movement.

 

After moving from the states to Spruce Grove, I knew more than ever that human connection, a safe place, and accountability were all imperative to keeping myself on track. In 2018, I received my comprehensive certification in Pilates and witnessed how incredible it was to work with clients to pursue their own goals.

My natural curiosity has led me down paths of exploration into multiple methods over the years. Even with the new knowledge, I always seem to root back into Pilates. Pilates has taken on new meaning over the years, but I have found the foundations and principles of Mr. Pilates (and lineages that followed) create endless opportunities via modifications and progressions. By allowing perfection to be cast aside, grace is given to show up in our present state each day.

During this transformative time in my life, I wanted to connect with others and create a compassionate space that provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I couldn’t think of a better place to start than my home studio!

 

I look forward to sharing my passion while working with clients, from beginners to advanced movers.

 

Pilates showed up for me when I needed it most.
